**About the role**:
As Port Services Superintendent, you'll play a key leadership role in overseeing day-to-day stevedoring operations, driving a solid safety culture, and delivering on commercial and customer commitments. You will work closely with leaders and teams to ensure seamless coordination, operational excellence, and compliance across the port services function.
- Champion a culture of safety across all operational activities
- Provide coaching and leadership to frontline leaders to support high-performing teams
- Manage operational and financial performance, including budgets and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement and identify efficiency opportunities
- Support succession planning and workforce development
- Lead investigations and ensure compliance with safety and industrial requirements
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to support operational success
**About you**:
You are a confident and collaborative leader with a solid background in port or stevedoring operations. Your ability to influence, coach, and drive performance will be key to your success in this fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
- Previous leadership experience in stevedoring or large-scale logistics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound computer literacy and operational systems knowledge
- Ability to influence, coach, and build team engagement
- Commercial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder and customer relationships
- Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
