Support Individuals with Disabilities
LFE Community Supports provides intensive training and support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes, the community, and day activity centers.
This role aligns with participants' National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) goals and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
* Develop and implement individualized plans to achieve NDIS goals.
* Work collaboratively with participants, families, and other stakeholders to ensure person-centered care.
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify participant needs.
* Develop and maintain relationships with participants, families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
* High standard of communication skills, including computer literacy and report writing.
* Ability to train and teach participants.
* Available to work all shifts, including night and weekend shifts.
* Exponent of people's rights and advocate for participant interests.
* High level of self-motivation, ethics, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
* Experience in the field of disability support.
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, or relevant qualification.
