About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Business Analyst to join a large government organisation's Technology Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in automation projects that support the delivery of vital public services across Queensland.
Responsibilities
* Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritise automation opportunities.
* Conduct process assessments and feasibility studies.
* Prepare detailed documentation, including PDDs, BRDs, user stories, and requirements.
* Translate business needs into technical specifications for RPA developers.
* Support optimisation and continuous improvement efforts before automation.
* Act as the bridge between business users and developers to ensure clarity and alignment.
* Assist in solution design reviews, UAT sessions, and process walk-throughs.
* Monitor automation performance and recommend improvements.
* Provide training and support through effective change management processes.
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
* Blue Prism Analyst certification.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related discipline.
* Previous experience in government sector RPA projects.
* Strong knowledge of RPA concepts, lifecycle, and governance.
* Proficiency with process mapping tools (Visio, Tango, PRIME).
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience presenting, running workshops, and facilitating discussions.
* Exposure to other automation platforms (UiPath, MS Power Platform).
* Change management knowledge.
* Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Contract and Location
* Flexible Working: First 3 months full-time onsite; thereafter, up to 2 days WFH per week may be considered.
* Contract term: 6 months (with potential extension)
* Start date: As soon as possible
