Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Contracts Professional to join our Brisbane M&IS business on a permanent basis. This role will see you working Monday to Friday based in our Milton Office. Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include: • Permanent full-time position within a high performing and supportive team • Safety and wellbeing at the forefront of our culture Key Responsibilities will include: Undertaking the review, qualification and negotiation of the terms and conditions of contracts as part of the client tender process in accordance with business policies and best practices Drafting and negotiating subcontracts Reviewing and assisting with the negotiation and execution of variations and claims to client contracts and subcontracts Working closely with our estimating, tendering, procurement and project teams Providing timely guidance and advice, raising potential risks or issues Interpreting contractual documentation and making recommendations for action Managing subcontractor engagement including prequalification and approval process Managing bank guarantees and insurances in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies Manage and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships What you will bring Degree in Business, Law, or Engineering would be highly advantageous Sound working knowledge of current contract law, relevant legislation and its application to the mining and oil and gas industries Demonstrable experience negotiating and managing subcontracts and high value client contracts Sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel) Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail Experience in a similar work environment and the ability to work autonomously as well as a pro-active team member in a cooperative environment Excellent time management and prioritisation / multi-tasking skills for a diverse and challenging workload An ability to engage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers Life at Monadelphous We celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
