We are currently seeking Spanish-speaking Care Workers to support clients who prefer or require communication in Spanish. If you are bilingual or fluent in Spanish, we would love to hear from you!
We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Hills area in a varied and rewarding role – no two days will be the same!
Day-to-Day Role
* Supporting and connecting with our clients, assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks – cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
* Transport to appointments and shopping
* Meal preparation
* Social support or respite for family/carers
* Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
To Be Successful in This Role
* A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australians in the community
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* A reliable team player
* Understanding of workplace health and safety
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
* An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
