Why choose Central Lift Trucks?
Great question, let us tell you why.
Established for over 20 years as a small business carrying out forklift services, repairs, hiring and supplying parts across Sydney and the Central Coast. The owners have built an incredible reputation across the Coast. With a recent take over, it's now time for the ambitious new owners to take the reigns and grow this organisation to the next level.
About us:
We're a small team, down to earth, genuine people that enjoy a good laugh. We understand that we spend a lot of our life at work so we know we want a team we all enjoy being around (and vise-versa of course).
We're not one of the big guys, we're built on values and respect and we certainly don't treat our staff like numbers.

Our ideal tech will be comfortable working on a forklift as well as developing rapport with our strong customer base. However, if you don't have forklift mechanical experience (that's ok, we know its rare) then a solid mechanical background will suffice, we can teach you the rest.
On a day to day basis, your role will include;
* Conducting mobile, customer-focused preventative maintenance services and breakdown repairs on forklifts.
* Complete field-based invoices after finalising jobs using our service app (training will be provided).
* Assisting in the preparation of field-based quotes for our customers.
Minimum requirements for the role:
* A minimum of Class C Drivers Licence.
* Relevant trade qualifications (Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic).
* Demonstrated diagnostic experience.
* An understanding of computer systems.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
Highly advantageous (however not essential):
* Forklift mechanical repairs experience.
* LPG Qualification.
* Forklift licence.
* Hydraulic experience.
Benefits:
We know firsthand our employees are our biggest asset. The successful candidate will be offered:
* Above award wages.
* A new van loaded with tools to make your job easier.
* Flexibility with shift start and finish times.
* 9 day fortnight option.
* Ipad.
* A mobile phone allowance.
* Ability to use your work vehicle for local personal use.
* Regular stay meetings with the boss to catch up and discuss you Your monthly wins, losses, challenges and where we can help to ensure you succeed in your role.
* Uniforms & PPE equipment supplied - your safety is paramount.
Whilst this role would ideally be suited to a highly experienced candidate, we're certainly open to meeting those that are entry to mid level that are interested in this opportunity. We're also open to hearing from part time and casuals if this works better for you (just let us know in your application). A talent pool will be created for future recruitment needs.
If you're wanting to be a part of a friendly, genuine team, a company where you wont be treated as a number but will actually be appreciated, then reach out to us today.
