Maternity Care Role
In a rural community, our team requires an experienced Registered Midwife to provide essential maternity care services. This role involves working 8-hour solo shifts supporting families during pregnancy, birth and postpartum periods.
* Care for pregnant women and new mothers: Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in a supportive environment.
* Mentor junior midwives and students: Offer guidance and support in the provision of maternity care.
* Collaborate with medical professionals: Work closely with consultant locum obstetricians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Support intrapartum care shifts: Assist MGP midwives as needed, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
* Stay up-to-date with clinical knowledge: Maintain current understanding of evidence-based practices in maternity care.
