The opportunity
We are looking to appoint a Recruitment Coordinator for a 12-month secondment contract, based in the HR team at Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory in a full-time maximum term position.
Supported by the Human Resources Operations Manager, this role supports and implements proactive sourcing strategies for identified key and critical roles across all business units of Swickers facility.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead role briefing with hiring manager and facilitate sourcing strategy for both blue collar and professional roles, across the organisation.
* Manage the entire recruitment workflow, including advertisement, shortlisting, references, medicals, supporting interviews, through to offer of position.
* Conduct and document screening process including CV’s pre-screening, telephone interview and short listing, design questions and scripts for screening process.
* Ensure constructive feedback is given in a timely manner, optimizing the candidate experience.
* Manage both salary and waged recruitment and staff movements.
* Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and program;
* Assist in the maintenance of personnel records;
* Assist in salary and wages administration and assist in payroll functions;
* Assist Department Managers in facilitating transfers, promotions, performance development etc;
* Drafting of contracts of employment and letters confirming employment etc;

Swicker’s Kingaroy Bacon Factory Pty Ltd is an export meat processing facility, based in the South Burnett Region and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours’ drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. Swicker’s has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 800 employees.
As part of the Sunpork Group, Swicker’s is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally. Swicker’s processes 95% of all Queensland’s pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide. Swicker’s is the largest Australian owned pork processor and continues to be a market leader in pork production.
Hours of work will be approximately Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
