The Role
We are looking for a Studio Manager to lead our VAURA Double Bay studio, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while driving team performance and delivering an exceptional client experience. This role is pivotal in maintaining our brand standards, fostering a welcoming and professional environment, and ensuring that every client interaction reflects VAURA’s commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a passion for leadership and operational efficiency, you will oversee the VAURA Concierge team, manage client relationships, drive engagement through social media and promotional campaigns, and maintain the studio’s premium standards.
Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Client Experience
Full-time role, which requires early mornings and some evenings.
Oversee daily studio operations to ensure seamless execution of the VAURA experience and concierge services.
Provide outstanding customer service, handling client inquiries and concerns efficiently.
Monitor and improve client retention through CRM tools and engagement strategies.
Ensure studio and equipment maintenance meets high cleanliness and functionality standards.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and mentor the VAURA Concierge team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Manage team rosters and schedules for optimal efficiency.
Oversee team performance metrics and ensure service excellence across all interactions.
Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement
Drive membership growth and retention through strategic promotional campaigns and challenges.
Actively manage the studio’s social media presence (Instagram), creating and posting content, responding to messages, and engaging with the community.
Develop partnerships with local businesses and vendors to enhance brand visibility and client offerings.
Financial & Administrative Management
Maintain budget oversight, tracking expenses and optimising studio resources.
Ensure compliance with VAURA’s business policies and operational standards.
Prepare performance reports and insights for upper management.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have...
Passion for Health & Fitness: While you don’t need to be a Pilates instructor, a strong appreciation for fitness and wellness is essential.
Leadership Experience: Proven background in leading teams within the fitness, hospitality, or retail industries.
Strong Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Adaptability & Initiative: Capable of working independently in a dynamic environment, problem-solving on the go.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to connect with clients, staff, and stakeholders professionally and effectively.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM platforms, scheduling systems, and social media for business growth.
