You'll lead ergonomic assessments, manual handling programs and education initiatives while contributing to state-wide policy and service development. Working closely with safety advisors and leaders, you'll help embed best practice and foster a culture of prevention. About us:

Central Queensland Health's Workforce and Organisational Capability Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service. The division takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, discipline, change management, safety and well-being, and engagement of our most important asset - "our people".

About the role:

Deliver specialist ergonomic and manual handling consultancy services
Lead injury prevention, education and quality improvement initiatives
Provide expert advice on workplace design and safe work practices
Influence policy and workforce wellbeing strategies

About you:

You are a registered Occupational Therapist with ergonomic experience and AHPRA registration.
You are passionate about safe work, prevention and staff wellbeing.
You bring strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 is comprised of:

An hourly rate between $ $69.55 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
