Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Project Change Lead to support two major technology transformation projects across HR Systems (Payroll, Timekeeping, HRIS) and Asset Management within a large, complex organisation. You'll drive engagement, communication, and adoption across diverse teams, including field workers, operational staff, and corporate functions.
Location: Ipswich (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Contract Duration: 12 months + extension
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities
* Lead two major technology transformation projects across HR Systems (Payroll, Timekeeping, HRIS) and Asset Management within a large government/council environment.
* Drive meaningful organisation-wide change that impacts frontline workers, operational teams, and corporate staff.
* Play a key role in aligning people, processes, and technology as part of a high-profile program with strong executive visibility.
* Develop and implement end-to-end change management strategies and frameworks to support the delivery of the two key technology projects.
* Conduct detailed change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify readiness, risks, gaps, and opportunities.
* Design, build, and deliver communication, engagement, and training plans that promote understanding, capability uplift, and adoption across diverse workforce groups.
* Partner closely with project teams, HR, operational leaders, and business units to ensure change activities stay aligned with milestones and program priorities.
* Support leaders and change champions by providing coaching, guidance, and tools to assist them in leading their teams through transition.
* Monitor adoption, collect feedback, and maintain change artefacts to support continuous improvement, inclusive engagement, and effective decision-making.
Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering structured change management within large-scale, complex technology or transformation projects.
* Experience implementing change related to HRIS, Payroll, Timekeeping, or Asset Management systems (highly regarded).
* Strong capability in impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, readiness assessment, and change planning.
* Demonstrated skill in designing communications, engagement, and training initiatives across multiple user groups.
* Proven ability to support operational and field workers, ensuring communications and training are accessible and relevant.
* Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to work autonomously within a fast-paced program environment.
Highly Desirable
* Government or council-sector experience.
* Prosci or equivalent change management certification.
* Experience working on multi-stream transformation programs.
