Procurement and Supply Chain Manager
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of national logistics operations and procurement strategies to drive efficiency and cost savings.
* Directly oversee a team of six warehouse, procurement, and logistics staff in Cairns and Melbourne, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and suppliers, ensuring seamless contract management and vendor negotiation.
* Ensure accurate and timely stock storage, despatch, and delivery processes are in place, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the logistics industry, including freight operations and platforms, warehousing, pick and pack operations, and procurement or merchandising. They should possess a sound understanding of business operations, relevant financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
As a highly organized and detail-oriented professional, you will effectively manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives.
