Fire Systems Technician Role
Maintaining fire safety is crucial in any facility. As a Fire Systems Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all fire detection and suppression systems are functioning properly.
The key tasks of this role include:
* Performing regular maintenance activities on fire systems to ensure they meet Australian Standards and Defence requirements
* Responding promptly to any issues or malfunctions with the fire systems
* Collaborating with Defence representatives to resolve system status and maintenance needs
* Ensuring compliance with essential service maintenance and certification processes
This role requires the following skills and qualifications:
* A Certificate III in Fire Systems Testing and Inspections
* Hold a QBCC Fire Protection Licence (QLD)
* Have industry experience in fire systems inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair
* Be eligible to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
* Hold a current Open Driver's Licence
* Fire Protection Accreditation (FPAA) would be advantageous
