Nestled amidst Melbourne’s captivating landscapes, Tulum Restaurant extends an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join our team. 
Position: Chef de Partie 
Location: 217 Carlisle Street Balaclava, Melbourne, VIC, Australia, Victoria 
Key Responsibilities: 
1. Oversee your section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard. 
2. Work in collaboration with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to maintain a seamless kitchen operation. 
3. Mastery of your station, ensuring all stock is used efficiently with minimal waste. 
4. Regularly maintain and clean your workspace to uphold our high standards of hygiene. 
5. Sharpen your skills and knowledge under the mentorship of our seasoned chefs. 
6. Adhere to and uphold the restaurant's recipes and presentation techniques. 
Requirements: 
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent hands-on experience. 
- At least 2 years of professional kitchen experience. 
- Proficiency in English. 
- Deep passion for the culinary arts, especially in traditional and contemporary Mexican cuisine. 
- Strong ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment. 
- Team-oriented mindset. 
- Residents / long-term visas preferred 
- Strong knowledge and experience in modern fine dining (preferably European)
