About the Role
We are hiring an EPA‐certified Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily apartment community in Spring Hill, FL. You'll handle HVAC, general repairs, and unit turns to keep apartments safe, comfortable, and move‐in ready.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair HVAC systems within your certification and community standards.
* Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
* Perform unit turns and punch work: drywall patching, painting, caulking, hardware replacement, basic carpentry.
* Assist with preventative maintenance and safety inspections on building systems and equipment.
* Participate in an on‐call rotation for after‐hours emergencies as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and accurate records of all work completed.
* Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and on‐site team members.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance experience (multifamily strongly).
* Active EPA certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.
* Solid working knowledge of HVAC plus basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
* Able to use hand tools, power tools, and ladders safely; able to lift [50] lbs and be on your feet most of the day.
* Reliable transportation to commute to the Spring Hill area.
* Strong customer service skills, good attitude, and dependable work ethic.
