Job Overview:
* We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our team, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
* To undertake comprehensive assessments, create tailored care plans and implement effective nursing interventions in partnership with consumers and/or their representatives.
* Liaise with medical, allied health professionals, pharmacies, service providers and equipment suppliers to deliver holistic, high-quality care.
* Document and report care activities, observations, changes in consumer needs and feedback in a precise, objective and efficient manner.
* Coordinate staff on a shift-by-shift basis.
* Assist in reviewing and disseminating clinical policies, procedures and assessment tools under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
* Provide expert clinical advice and education to personal care staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Desirable experience in an aged care setting, particularly in residential care.
* Able to work varied shifts, including AM, PM and night shifts, Monday to Sunday.
* Able to commit to working 10 shifts per fortnight.
* Sound understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
* Current National Police Clearance and NDIS screening.
