Operations Technician Role
The key role of an Operations Technician involves working closely with the day-to-day operations team to ensure smooth production processes.
Responsibilities include coordinating and controlling activities within a designated area, setting up and operating equipment, testing and calibrating systems, and interpreting technical documents.
Additionally, the Operations Technician will be responsible for monitoring data from instruments, consulting with team members to resolve production issues, and troubleshooting problems or malfunctions with equipment.
This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and control operations activities in the rostered responsibility area
* Set-up, operate equipment and systems that control the treatment process
* Test, calibrate equipment and systems
* Read and interpret technical documents
* Use specialized process control software to record and analyse production data
* Monitor readings and data from instruments
* Consult with team members to resolve production or processing problems
* Troubleshoot and diagnose any problems or malfunctions with equipment
General Duties:
* Conduct routine checks on equipment and systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems
* Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
* Assist in the development of new procedures and work instructions as required
