About the Role
You will sit at the intersection of the paid social media and content creator team, translating performance data into creative strategy. The Creative Paid Social Strategist turns performance insights into scalable creative that drives revenue.
You will translate paid social data into insightful creative direction, script conversion-focused video ads, identify winning ad patterns and hooks, and scale top-performing concepts across Meta and TikTok for all their markets.
You will optimise performance based on real-time insights, and ideally bring video editing capability to rapidly test and iterate creative, and potentially produce your own low-fi content. The focus is lower-funnel performance, building ads that sell, scaling what works, and iterating quickly to maximise efficient customer acquisition.
You will lead creative performance strategy end-to-end, from ideation through to optimisation, bringing a data mindset to creative while keeping our brand's unique tone.
* Develop performance-led creative briefs and structured testing roadmaps across paid social channels to drive measurable growth.
* Translate performance data, platform trends, and consumer behaviour into scalable creative briefs that unlock winning concepts.
* Ideate and script converting video ads, crafting strong angles, hooks, and messaging frameworks designed to improve ROAS.
* Manage end to end paid social strategy from creative ideation to campaign optimisations in order to drive growth.
* Provide strategic direction across low-fi content, creator-led campaigns, influencer partnerships, and UGC to maximise commercial impact.
* Produce and work with creators to film short-form content, that is diversified, authentic and commercially effective
* Build and manage performance-driven shot lists and low-fi shoots to efficiently bring scripts to life.
* Direct and coach creators, talent, and internal teams during production to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives.
* Capture high-utility footage, including multiple hooks, variations, cutaways, product detail shots, reactions, and lifestyle moments, to support structured creative testing.
* Monitor platform evolution, competitor activity, and cultural trends, applying insights quickly to maintain a competitive edge.
* Explore and integrate AI tools to enhance creative outputs, ideas and workflow efficiency.
Skills & Experience
* 4+ years of experience in creative strategy, paid social strategy or performance marketing (agency or in-house- preferably in-house for eCommerce / DTC brands)
* Proven ability to translate data into creative frameworks, briefs and structured testing roadmaps
* Strong understanding of interpreting paid social data across platforms (Meta, TikTok)
* Background in video production, content creation OR creative direction
* Experience working with creators, UGC, influencer or partnership ads
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Curiosity for AI tools and project management improvement
* Strong understanding of lower-funnel conversion tactics (leveraging to optimise creative output, efficiency, volume)
* Experience staying abreast of platform trends, emerging ad formats / trends.
* Research proficient- skilled in translating cultural, consumer and performance data into creative strategy
* Additional bonus skills: act as a hands-on content creator: producing, filming and editing content independently using an iPhone and CapCut.
