About the Opportunity
The Clinical Support Midwife provides direct clinical support and mentorship to students, graduates, newly appointed or less experienced midwives, as well as experienced midwives, to support the ongoing development of high‐quality clinical skills and professional growth. The role also contributes to the implementation, and evaluation of clinical learning activities across the organisation, working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education, the Assistant Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education (Women's and Children's Program), and Clinical Midwifery Educators.
Qualifications
* Dual qualified registered Nurse/ Midwife with APHRA
* Post graduate qualifications or relevant experience in triage, critical care and emergency settings (highly desirable)
* Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
* A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
* The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Required Evidence
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
