Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as an L3 Engineer in a fast-paced MSP environment. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for handling troubleshooting across networking, servers, and Microsoft workplace solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling troubleshooting across networking, servers, and Microsoft workplace solutions.
* Working on projects such as migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud deployments.
* Managing multiple clients and adapting to different environments, ensuring best practices are followed.
* Translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders to help them make informed decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 4+ years of MSP experience—you know how an MSP operates, from change management to balancing multiple clients.
* Networking knowledge—you don't need to configure a full enterprise network, but you should understand VLANs, subnetting, firewall rules, and how to troubleshoot network issues.
* Strong Windows Server experience—deploying and configuring servers, setting up Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
* Proactive problem-solving—you might not have the answer immediately, but you know how to find it and get the job done.
* A full driver's licence—client visits may be required, though the role is based at our Canberra HQ.

About You:
* You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you do need to understand how an MSP operates juggling multiple clients, handling change management, and switching between different environments throughout the day.
* You won't be expected to architect an entire network from scratch or configure complex BGP routing, but you should know the fundamentals of VLANs what they do, why they matter in a multi-tenant setup, and how to properly segment traffic.
* You should be comfortable deploying and configuring Windows Server, setting up Active Directory from scratch, managing Group Policy, and ensuring DNS and DHCP are running smoothly.
