ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and practical Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a community housing program. Working closely with a Program Manager, you will coordinate tailored support for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness — including those with complex needs such as mental ill-health, domestic and family violence, alcohol and other drug challenges, or justice involvement. You will also mentor and manage a small team of frontline workers, driving person-centred, trauma-informed service delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the intake process for new tenants and coordinate wraparound support services
* Develop individual support plans using a holistic, strength-based, outcomes-focused approach
* Manage staffing rosters and support shift cover and staff absences
* Build and maintain partnerships with clinical, community, and government service providers
* Ensure accurate and timely data collection, case noting, and reporting against funding requirements
* Coordinate activities that build life skills and improve quality of life for tenants
* Identify service gaps and recommend improvements to housing pathways
* Provide mentoring and day-to-day leadership to Wellbeing and Recovery Workers
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Tertiary or Diploma level qualification in health, welfare, or a related discipline
* Demonstrated experience delivering services to people experiencing homelessness or complex needs (DFV, AOD, mental health)
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a frontline team
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills across diverse community groups
* Strength-based, person-centred, and trauma-informed practice approach
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and current Driver's Licence required
DESIRABLE
* Certificate IV in Housing (Homelessness) — or willingness to obtain
