You'll be pivotal in building strong partnerships, championing enhanced service offerings, and driving organisational growth through community connection and customer engagement.
This is more than a management or business development role; you'll lead initiatives that create a lasting impact across the communities we support.
The Community Engagement Leader will lead the implementation of our dynamic Community Engagement team strategy and operational plan, driving the achievement of department KPIs. You'll provide insightful analysis and advice, initiate impactful process improvements, and respond proactively to business trends to enhance operational quality and efficiency.
You'll develop robust relationships with community stakeholders and identify exciting opportunities to expand our presence in the communities we serve. Leading innovative business development and promotion efforts, you'll manage the lead pipeline to attract, convert, and onboard new customers.
You'll ensure our engagement approaches comply with relevant standards and legislative requirements, contributing to the development of organisational policy, procedures, and frameworks.
Cultivating a respectful and collaborative team environment, you'll provide leadership to direct reports with a focus on quality, safety, continuous improvement, employee development, retention, and high performance.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a qualification in Community Development, Social Sciences, Business, Health or related field, or extensive experience leading strategic initiatives in a large and complex environment at a senior leadership level.
You'll demonstrate experience leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve strategic and operational goals, overseeing business growth, customer acquisition, and service development. Aged care and/or community care industry knowledge, including relevant Government funding, guidelines, and legislation, is also essential.
Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, proven ability to communicate, collaborate, and negotiate effectively with varied stakeholders, and resilience under pressure are required.
As part of this role, you'll travel as required to regional offices between Rockhampton and Brisbane and participate in occasional weekend on-call requirements.
