职务描述
Join our Sydney team as a full-time Dispatch Coordinator. This role entails processing outbound orders, preparing freight for transport, and creating daily schedules for drivers.
This Role Will Primarily Involve
* Scan and dispatch freight
* Stack and wrap pallets along with other warehouse duties where required
* Create air and road consignment notes (using both a computer and manual system)
* Lodge and collect freight at air and sea terminals
* Load and unload delivery vehicles, completing deliveries on occasion
* Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the customer needs
* Prepare daily work schedules and notify drivers of road hazards that may impact their travel time
* Monitor daily driver logs for errors, violations, working hours and equipment availability
* Process export and import shipments
You Will Have
* 2 - 3 years of warehousing experience
* Customer service experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment
* A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one
* A certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution and/or experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding will be highly regarded
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks
* Strong planning and organisational skills
* Experience using dispatch software is highly desirable
