Postdoctoral Researcher in Midwifery
Edith Cowan University is offering a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in midwifery to contribute to the development of evidence-based initiatives that positively impact childbirth satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and conduct research studies with guidance from senior researchers
2. Collaborate with health service partners, maternity care consumers, and other stakeholders to advance midwifery research capacity
3. Engage with research students and support their academic progress
4. Publish and disseminate research findings to promote the university's values of integrity, respect, rational inquiry, personal excellence, and courage
The successful candidate will lead a program of work focused on developing, testing, and implementing innovative midwifery initiatives. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will demonstrate your expertise in designing and conducting high-quality research, as well as your ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. PhD in a relevant field, such as midwifery or a related discipline
2. Experience in conducting research, including study design, data collection, and analysis
3. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with health service partners and other stakeholders
4. Demonstrated commitment to advancing midwifery research capacity and promoting excellence in academic practice
