About the role
Bunnings Frame & Truss is looking for Estimators at Junior, Intermediate or Senior levels to support our growing Commercial offering across Australia. As an Estimator you will ensure accurate detailing and estimation of quantities for Frame, Truss and Floor Systems, delivering quotes and designs within agreed time frames.
Responsibilities
* Estimate Frame and Truss projects for new and existing clients across your region.
* Prepare quotes and designs for timber components, including frames, trusses and floor systems.
* Use estimation software such as Pryda and CAD.
* Build relationships with Account Managers and directly engage with clients in the residential construction industry.
* Report to and collaborate with the Estimation Co‐ordinator.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of building industry codes and products.
* Previous building experience.
* Passion for customer service.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans.
* Experience with software packages such as Pryda, MultiNail or MiTek.
* Trades background, experience with a manufacturer, or estimation role are preferred, but a recent completion of a construction‐related Diploma or Degree will also be considered.
