**About the role**
As the Hydraulic Service Technician your duties will include performing field service work including scheduled and breakdown maintenance, repairs and installations when required. You will work autonomously and assisted on bigger jobs, visiting client sites, and reporting to the workshop when required.
**Responsibilities will also include**:
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults in equipment and vehicles
- Provide comprehensive break down and regular routine servicing
- Completing & submitting job reports
- Providing excellent customer service
- Managing OH&S safely requirements
- Providing the Service Supervisor with relevant information to ensure safety and customer requirements are being met
**To be a successful Hydraulic Service Technician, you will need**:
- Experience working on heavy equipment such as heavy vehicles, materials handling machinery, crushers, compactors or similar
- Trade qualification - Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, Auto-Electrician or significant demonstrable experience
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with team members
- Take pride in work and presentation
- Clean drivers license - HR desirable
- Physically fit and able to carryout basic manual handling when required
