The manager role
As Manager Community Services, you will lead the planning, delivery and review of community programs across West Arnhem, managing a high‑performing team in Jabiru and remote communities to deliver outcomes for local participants and communities. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, oversee large and complex budgets and reporting, and implement evidence‑based service plans that respond to emerging needs in a remote NT environment.
Is this you?
Proven community leadership in remote West Arnhem, representing Council professionally.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field, with strong legislative and compliance knowledge.
Record of leading diverse teams and building a safe, positive and performance‑focused environment.
Experience managing large grants, budgets, contracts and competing priorities across dispersed locations.
Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for diverse staff and stakeholders.
Demonstrated HR experience in complex workplaces.
Highly organised, adaptable and outcome‑focused, ensuring programs meet funding and compliance requirements.
