MberX is a sports and rewards platform built for AFL and NRL fans around Australia. The platform is built around three core pillars: footy tipping, sports media & analytics, and rewards.

Launching in January 2026, MberX is designed to deliver a modern, creator driven fan experience and will evolve with new features, content and partnerships over time.

This role would ideally suit someone based in Melbourne

Role Description

We are looking for a hands on Social Media & Content Coordinator (1-3 years' experience) to manage and execute MberX's content across all social media channels and in app content hubs.

This role will own the day-to-day management of our social platforms including Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn, as well as content published inside the MberX app. You will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing and optimising content across channels, while working closely with the Content & Partnerships Manager on campaign direction, creator integrations, and brand voice.

This is a highly practical role for someone who wants responsibility inside a fast-growing sports tech startup.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, shoot, and edit short form content for Instagram, Tiktok and in app channels
* Create static assets and campaign visuals
* Assist in executing the content calendar across all platforms
* Draft captions, copy and CTA's in the MberX tone of voice
* Schedule, upload and optimise posts across all socials for performance
* Capture event content at activations, games, creator shoots and partner events
* Support content creation where needed for partners
* Monitor sport news, social trends and cultural moments to identify reactive content opportunities
* Help organise and maintain asset libraries, templates and content workflows
* Respond to comments, community engagement and platform interactions
* Assist in preparing social content decks, partner reports and campaign summaries
* Assist in tracking performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations

Required Skills and Experience

* 1-3 years experience working across social media or digital content, preferably in sport
* Strong short form video editing skills
* Experience publishing and managing content across multiple platforms
* Understanding of social platform algorithms and best practices
* Ability to write engaging, on brand copy
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple content streams
