1300SMILES Buderim is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilisation Assistant to join our friendly dental team on a casual basis (2 days per week).
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high clinical standards and enjoys working behind the scenes to support a busy dental practice.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised and ready for use, helping the practice run smoothly and safely each day.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning, sterilising and packing dental instruments
* Maintaining sterilisation logs and compliance records
* Ensuring infection control and safety standards are met
* Assisting with stock control of sterilisation supplies
* Supporting the clinical team as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a dental or medical sterilisation role is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and organization skills
* Understanding of infection control procedures
* Reliable, punctual and a team player
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or similar) is advantageous but not essential
