Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams. We currently have permanent full time and casual positions available in the Kedron and Newmarket stores.
Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.
The current position(s) are available for immediate start for enthusiastic and motivated individuals seeking an opportunity to develop their career. Award wages and uniform are supplied. You will be required to work across both stores, and some weekends. The stores are not open on public holidays.
Responsibilities
* Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers
* Tinting & mixing paint
* Following the \"Inspirations Way\"
* Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising
* Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping
* Workplace Health & Safety
* Work across both stores and some weekends
Experience / Attributes
* Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus
* Well presented both in appearance and communication
* Able to contribute and work in a team environment
* Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products
* Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or complaints
* Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
* Honest, reliable and punctual
* This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
