As a Business Development Manager – Financial Services, you will leverage your deep industry knowledge and business acumen to originate and close high-value deals. You will understand and address the core challenges facing Financial Services organizations, such as:
* Digital transformation & legacy system modernization – Helping clients move beyond outdated infrastructure to cloud-enabled, AI-driven solutions.
* Regulatory compliance & risk management – Ensuring financial institutions stay ahead of evolving regulations while mitigating risk.
* Customer expectations & hyper-personalization – Enabling seamless, tailored experiences through advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
* Operational efficiency & cost optimization – Streamlining processes and leveraging automation to drive profitability.
* Cybersecurity & fraud prevention – Strengthening security posture in an increasingly digital world.

Key Responsibilities
* Originate and Develop Business Opportunities – Identify and qualify sales opportunities in the Financial Services sector, building a strong pipeline of new business.
* Engage C-Level Stakeholders – Cultivate deep relationships with decision-makers across mid-tier banks, insurers, wealth management firms, and other financial institutions.
* Collaborate with Microsoft and Partners – Leverage our strategic partnerships to enhance our go-to-market strategies and expand our book of business.
* Develop and Present Business Cases – Articulate the ROI of Microsoft-based solutions, demonstrating their value in driving strategic business objectives .
* Lead Complex Sales Cycles – Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and solutioning to contract negotiation and deal closure.
* Innovate and Influence – Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing forward innovative ideas and insights that position Avanade as a leader in Financial Services transformation.
* Build Speed Dial Relationships within the Partner Ecosystem – Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships within Microsoft and other key partners to accelerate deal origination and execution.

* Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the Financial Services sector, particularly the mid-tier market, with an established network of decision-makers and influencers.
* Business Development Prowess: A proven track record of selling large-scale consulting engagements and technology solutions, with experience navigating complex sales cycles.
* Technology Acumen: Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including GenAI, Cloud, Data & AI, and CRM solutions, and how they can drive transformation in Financial Services.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess client challenges and translate them into innovative, technology-driven solutions that deliver business value.
* Leadership & Collaboration: Adept at leading cross-functional teams and working with partners to deliver impactful solutions.
* Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and large-scale projects with precision.
