The Opportunity
In this role, you will commence or continue your Refrigeration/HVAC Apprenticeship, working with highly skilled technicians to complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites.
This apprenticeship will be based in Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems
* Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems
* Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
* Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems
* Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
* Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures
To be considered for this role:
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
* Mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn and ability to participate in working as part of a team.
* Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Drivers Licence
* Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check
* Be able to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues
*The position requires the successful candidate to conduct a pre-employment medical and a police check*
