About You
You're a skilled and dependable mechanic who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Known for your robust work ethic and eye for detail, you thrive in fast-paced settings while consistently upholding exceptional standards.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need
A Certificate III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Demonstrated experience working in a workshop as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
The ability to work efficiently under pressure without compromising on quality
Strong diagnostic abilities and keen technical insight
Explicit and effective communication skills—both written and verbal
A reliable, flexible, and customer-oriented attitude
Solid knowledge of workplace Health & Safety protocols
A valid Full Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
Willingness to work as part of a rotating Saturday roster
Your Responsibilities
Offer professional advice on vehicle mechanical conditions
Carry out repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, suspensions, and related systems
Communicate necessary repairs or servicing to the Store Manager and update internal systems
Conduct test drives and final quality checks prior to vehicle handover
Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive workshop environment
Support general workshop operations as required
