Team Leader Customer Experience & Libraries
Permanent Full-Time position

Band 6 Salary Range: $97,245.14 to $105,466.60 per year plus 12% Superannuation

The Role
Libraries today are vibrant community hubs — places of connection, learning and wellbeing. At Latrobe City Council, we’re looking for a strategic and people-focused team leader to help shape the future of our library and service centre network.
As Team Leader Customer Experience & Libraries you will:
* Guide and support the team in daily front and back of house library/service centre operations, including building presentation/maintenance and the delivery of services
* Roster staffing resources with a whole of library approach and in consultation with other Library Team Leaders.
* Assist in maximising community engagement and increasing membership via a suite of programs/events
* Support the objectives of the Customer Service Charter and Library Plan.
* Lead, engage, coach and support the development of team members to ensure individual/team objectives are consistently achieved.
You'll need:
* A Diploma as a Library Technician or qualifications in business management is desirable, or a lesser qualification together with extensive experience in managing a library or customer service environment.
* Demonstrated experience in change management, innovation, and process improvement.
* Experience in coaching and leading a team to increase team wellbeing and to meet performance targets.
* Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and customers.
* Ability to display initiative, energy and decisiveness, be flexible, adaptable and optimistic applying a ‘can do’ attitude.
