We are currently seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Store Person to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. If you are proactive, flexible, and driven to succeed, you are the type of professional we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
Your key responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Logistics & Facilities Coordinator, ensuring regulatory compliance for aeronautical products, safety for dangerous goods, and proper handling of hazardous items packed and transported from/into the store.
Maintaining safety and compliance within the Store Person's area of responsibility.
Maintaining stock & MIS integrity and stock control through accurate data interfacing with maintenance inventory systems, compliant stock segregation, storage, and receipt inspection for incoming aeronautical parts & tooling.
Supporting immediate engineering teams with equipment/aeronautical products required for maintenance tasks.
Adhering to additional safety/security regulations such as NHVR COR, known consignor regulations, airport security, group policies, and EAR/ITAR regulations.
The essential requirements
Experience within a Stores or 3PL logistics environment.
Experience within an aviation engineering environment.
Ability to follow supervisory directions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and proactive attitude.
Passion for safe work practices.
Valid work visa.
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain).
Current Australian licenses to operate vehicles/machines.
Shifts will primarily follow a rolling 12-hour pattern: 2 days / 2 nights, with 4 days off.
