Trade Assistant Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Trade Assistant to join our internal trades team. As a key member of the team, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople to carry out maintenance, repairs, and minor modifications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Carry out trade-related tasks based on drawings, templates, and instructions provided by senior staff members
* Support preventative maintenance activities and ensure equipment is properly maintained
* Operate machinery and tools in a safe and responsible manner
* Maintain accurate records, including photographic documentation of tasks completed
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and service delivery teams
* Contribute to a proactive safety culture through regular interactions with the SHEQ team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical check and obtain a national police clearance. They will also need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment. A current driver's licence is also required.
