Onsite Rental Group PTY Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader in our Mechanical Workshop located in Derrimut VIC, under the department of Melbourne West.
As the Team Leader - Mechanical Workshop, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical technicians in delivering high-quality service and maintenance of equipment. Your main tasks will include:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mechanical workshop
* Providing technical guidance and support to the team
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
* Coordinating work schedules and assignments for workshop staff
* Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
* Participating in recruitment and training activities for new workshop staff
* Maintaining inventory levels and ordering necessary parts and supplies
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
Skills and Experiences
Along with sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, our ideal candidate will have:
* A mechanical trade qualification
* Experience in leading teams (either directly or indirectly) and managing service demand
* Sound planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
* Ability to problem solve and be versatile
* Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to manage cost in line with budgets
