A great opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Telecommunications/Wamarra team based out of our office in Brisbane, QLD.
Working within our Critical Infrastructure division within Telecommunications, the ideal applicants will assist in the development of electrical detailed designs, produce cost estimates of materials and labour, assist the construction team during the construction of the projects, and update databases and as-built drawings.

About You
Preferable experience and knowledge of, but not limited to:
* Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer / Designer
* Technical fluency on Low Voltage and DC power
* Proficiency in bill of quantities preparation
* Proficiency in interpreting CAD drawings
* Competency in MS Office, especially with MS Excel to prepare bill of quantities and tender cost estimates
* MS Access, MS Power Automation, and Power Apps are desirable
* Be prepared to work away from home when required
* Knowledge of ISO9001, OH&S legislation/guidelines, and environmental legislation/licensing
Desired Skills But Not Essential
* Develop technically fit-for-purpose solar and battery designs for the commercial market segment
* Have proficient knowledge of the solar industry and solar-related regulations and requirements
* Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
