Position: Maintenance Planner Location: Muswellbrook, New South Wales Work Schedule: On-site 35-hour week, 9-day fortnight, RDO of your choosing.
Reporting to the Planning, Reliability and Business Process Manager, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for all aspects of Maintenance Planning. This includes working within the guidelines of the AGL Work Management Standards and Procedures and Contract Management methodology. The role involves establishing resource requirements, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve maintenance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance Planning: Oversee all aspects of maintenance planning, ensuring activities are delivered in accordance with business requirements and AGL Work Management Standards.
* Resource Management: Establish and manage internal and external resource requirements, including parts and personnel.
* Health, Safety & Environment: Lead and coach a proactive HSE culture, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and promoting safe work practices.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, contractors, maintenance, material suppliers, procurement, and warehouse teams to achieve maintenance objectives.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in maintenance and forced outage activities, driving efficiency and minimising waste.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Mechanical or Electrical Trades experience and/or qualification, or significant relevant experience in the industry.
* Proven technical expertise in planning and scheduling, with experience in major outages and forced outages within a heavy industry environment.
* Experience with SAP CMMS and scheduling tools.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and work effectively across teams.
* HSE focus, modelling safe and environmentally responsible working behaviours, and promoting a positive attitude toward innovation and adaptability.
