Senior Accountant – Private Business and Family Advisory, Newcastle
Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a full‐time role in our Private Business and Family Advisory team, located in Newcastle.
Responsibilities
* Provide general accounting and tax compliance services to client groups within a broad range of industries.
* Prepare management reports for clients.
* Assist the client manager or partner with more complex taxation advice.
* Be responsible for the mentoring and training of junior team members.
About You
* A minimum of 4 years experience in a public practice environment (business services/taxation).
* Completed (or near completion) of a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) and have either commenced or intend to commence the CA program.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team where required.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* A strong desire to learn and grow your skills to the next level, along with a high level of curiosity.
