Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Manager to oversee the planning and preparation of high-quality meals in a remote workplace setting.
About the Role
* Lead a team of culinary professionals, including Chefs and Kitchen Utilities, to deliver exceptional food services.
* Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control.
* Collaborate with the Catering Manager to ensure seamless service delivery and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a buffet-style format for Breakfast, Crib Lunch, Dinner, and Desserts.
2. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, safe work practices, and food handling procedures.
3. Minimize waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
4. Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Certification in Commercial Cookery (minimum) and extensive experience in bulk catering.
* Knowledge of kitchen operations, menu writing, rostering, cost control, hygienic work practices, and HACCP guidelines.
* Proven track record of managing menu planning, inventory control, and food preparation.
