Leeton High School has an enrolment of 450 students with 15% of the student population being of Aboriginal heritage. The school has experienced a steady increase in EAL/D enrolments in recent years. - Approval to teach Mathematics (Years 7 - 12).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and differentiated Mathematics teaching and learning programs, including integrating technology to inspire student engagement and improved learning outcomes.
- Evidence of effective classroom management to promote a supportive and positive learning environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Conditions: Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus of $20,000 (Conditions Apply). The Recruitment Bonus will be paid on a pro rata basis for permanent part-time teachers and executive staff. The maximum recruitment bonus available for a position is $20,000, including any job share arrangements.
A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE.
