Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and technical support to our aircraft fleet, ensuring ongoing safety, reliability, and airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing maintenance and technical support to the RFDS aircraft fleet.
* Ensuring ongoing safety, reliability, and airworthiness of the fleet.
* Performing temporary relief maintenance at other RFDS locations as operational needs arise.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License for type-rated turbine aircraft appropriate to our fleet of King Air B200 and B300 aircraft.
* A current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Demonstrated hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance with a strong focus on reliability and service excellence.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication and organisational capabilities, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
* Sound analytical and trouble-shooting skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
* A high level of self-motivation, initiative, and personal accountability.
* Confidence using basic computer systems.
