We're seeking an experienced Planning and Inventory Specialist to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analyse demand forecasts with marketing, sales, and finance teams to align with global targets.
* Guide Sales and Operations Planning, incorporating market trends and uplifts, and create awareness on inventory and supply across all levels.
* Manage monthly and annual demand planning processes.
* Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers as the main point of contact for planning and forecasting.
Inventory Management:
* Oversee and optimise replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Monitor service level at the SKU level-location level and provide recommendations to improve shelf availability.
* Drive adoption of the global stock model within Australia, defining clear targets on various stock elements.
* Identify and implement appropriate stocking policies to ensure rotation, optimize working capital, and maximise service levels.
Returns Process:
* Optimise the return process, identifying options that minimise waste, reduce costs, and keep operations smooth.
Alignment with Global Team:
* Maintain a strong connection with our global functional Supply Chain team via regular touchpoints and monthly meetings.
About You:
* Previous experience in planning and Sales and Operations Planning.
* Experience in store replenishment.
* Experience establishing metrics, KPIs, and driving positive changes within the business.
* Previous experience using demand planning and forecasting tools and an ERP system.
* Experience in process improvement initiatives.
* Ability to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
