Robert Half is proud to be partnering exclusively with a well-known and internationally recognised organisation in search of an Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage a full cycle AP function as well as oversee 2 employees.
This fast-paced role is ideal for an Accounts Payable officer with 5 years + experience in a busy environment who has proven experience managing vendors nationally and internationally. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing changes in regulation & compliance, managing new system integrations as well as be the go-to for the current standing Accounts payable team.
This role will suit a candidate with a passion for accounts payable, and a desire to take the next step in their career.
Although this role is 5-days on site, flexible working can be offered over time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts payable processing, including invoice coding/PO matching
* Financial reporting on performance, trends and improvement
* Bank/Supplier statement reconciliations
* Complex query resolution
* Month end reporting
* Liaising with internal and internal stakeholder - building positive relationships
* Supporting finance and administration teams during system and process changes driven by reforms
* Oversee a growing team of Accounts Payable officers
Your Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Confidence in handling Accounts Payable Duties
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to consistently meet deadlines
* Comfortable working 5 days on-site
* The versatility to work independently and collaboratively
