About the Opportunity
This is a rare chance to join the kitchen team of one of Melbourne's most exciting newly opened hospitality venues.
Now welcoming guests and building momentum, The Angel of Malvern is looking to grow its back‐of‐house team with passionate, reliable people who take pride in their work. Working closely with our Head Chef and broader leadership team, you'll play an important support role in delivering a strong service culture that shapes the atmosphere that sets our venues apart.
You'll bring energy, professionalism and a genuine love of food and hospitality, contributing to a kitchen culture built on respect, teamwork and high standards.
What You'll Do
* Support kitchen operations through dishwashing and BOH cleaning
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety
* Assist chefs with basic food preparation and simple cooking tasks
* Help with kitchen set‐up, pack‐down and service flow
* Support stock rotation, deliveries and storage procedures
* Work efficiently as part of a fast‐paced service team
* Contribute to a positive, respectful and hardworking kitchen environment
About You
You're driven, reliable and keen to be part of a professional kitchen. You take pride in quality, consistency and teamwork. You'll also bring:
* Experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred but not essential)
* A calm, steady approach under pressure
* A willingness to learn, develop and support the wider team
* A positive, can‐do attitude and strong work ethic
* An understanding of food safety standards (Food Handler / Food Safety Supervisor highly regarded)
* Availability across nights, weekends and rotating rosters
