Step into a key leadership role with Lumus Imaging and be part of something new from the beginning. Lumus Imaging is opening a brand‐new, comprehensive imaging clinic in Launceston, and we're seeking an experienced MRI Supervisor to shape the MRI operations, culture, and patient experience from day one. With state‐of‐the‐art MRI, as well as CT, X‐ray, OPG, Mammography, and DEXA, this is a rare opportunity to build a high‐performing clinic backed by the stability, resources, and career pathways of a leading national imaging network.

About the role

As MRI Supervisor, you will provide both clinical and people leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services and exceptional patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading, mentoring, and supporting MRI staff
* Maintaining the highest standards of MRI safety and scan quality
* Supporting workflow efficiency, protocol optimisation, and continuous improvement
* Ensuring productivity targets are met without compromising patient experience
* Collaborating closely with Radiologists and site leadership

You'll be working on a new Siemens 3T Lumina MRI scanner, alongside experienced Radiologists in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

* Demonstrated experience training and supporting MRI staff
* Strong technical expertise and the ability to maintain high imaging quality and productivity
* Experience with Siemens MRI scanners (essential)
* Experience working with a 3T MRI scanner, ideally Siemens Lumina
* Advanced knowledge of MRI safety
* Experience with adaptation techniques and protocol optimisation (desirable)
* Recognised qualification in Medical Imaging Technology
* Current AHPRA registration and Tasmanian radiation licence
* Sound understanding of WHS practices
