Housekeeper / Domestic Cleaner - Private Residence
A professional Brighton family is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to manage their beautiful, well-maintained home. This is a long-term opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who takes immense pride in creating a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
The Opportunity: Become an integral part of a respectful household where your skills and professionalism are truly valued. This role offers stability, autonomy, and the chance to work in a stunning private residence. You will be entrusted with the full scope of housekeeping duties, ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and order.
Hours:
Flexible hours: 4 full days per week (approx. 8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Plus 3/4 hours on a Saturday (flexible, e.g., 10/11:00 am starts)
Bonus: A flair for cooking is welcomed (though not essential) and would provide the opportunity for additional hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive, high-standard cleaning and upkeep of the entire home.
- Maintaining pristine and hygienic bathrooms.
- Expertly managing all laundry, including washing, ironing, and the care of delicate garments.
- Ensuring bedrooms are presented immaculately, including making beds and changing linens.
- Keeping the kitchen spotless and organised, including dishwashing and appliance cleaning (ovens, fridges).
- Meticulous dusting, vacuuming, and mopping of all floor surfaces.
- Tidying and maintaining outdoor patio areas, including using a leaf blower as required.
