About Our Role
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our in-home support team as Care Workers. In this diverse role, you will provide care and support to our customers, enabling them to live their best lives.
As a Care Worker, your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Personal care: assisting with toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, and other personal hygiene needs.
* Meal preparation: cooking, food preparation, and meal planning to meet the dietary requirements of our customers.
* Transportation: providing transport to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping, and other outings as required.
* Social support: offering empathetic companionship, fostering meaningful connections, and maintaining our customers' connection to the community.
* Domestic assistance: duties such as vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds, and basic home and garden maintenance.
Your Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A driver's license and a fully registered and insured vehicle.
* Current First Aid including CPR qualification.
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent (desired but not essential).
* NDISWC and WWCC (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience in the use of technology such as smartphones and computer programs.
