Salary : $86,887 - $93,066 + up to 15.4% SuperannuationLocation : Nowra - NSWThe RoleThe Fleet Air Arm Museum is seeking a motivated, talented, and skilled APS 5 Education Services Coordinator.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Sea Power Centre – Australia (SPC-A) and Fleet Air Arm Museum (FAAM).
You will engage with the local community, other museums, heritage and learning centres, and the broader Navy to provide an educational and enjoyable experience to visitors of the FAAM.The APS 5 Education Services Coordinator will demonstrate experience in areas such as:Liaising with external stakeholders regarding educational tours and events.Designing events and activities to promote Navy Heritage and its mission.Proposing operational strategies for the education services function supporting the museum, Navy Heritage, and Defence Heritage missions.Understanding education services best practices in heritage institutions.Understanding current school curricula related to Navy Heritage.Understanding Defence training programs related to Navy Heritage.Collecting and analyzing visitor feedback.Coordinating marketing activities and designing initiatives in line with Defence policy and guidelines.Maintaining social media pages.Managing advertising bookings and budget.About Our TeamThis position is embedded within the Fleet Air Arm Museum, part of the Sea Power Centre - Australia.
